Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Manufacturing Industry

Location: Pune

Experience Level: 15+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our cient's dynamic manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial planning, risk management, and operational efficiency while driving business growth and ensuring fiscal health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Provide financial insights to guide long-term decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with operational goals and market conditions. Deliver accurate forecasts to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee financial operations, including accounting, treasury, and tax functions. Optimize processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison with investors, board members, and external partners, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control costs to maintain profitability while supporting sustainable growth initiatives.
  • M&A and Fundraising: Drive mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising activities as needed to support business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Proven track record in financial leadership roles within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex financial operations.
