Member of Technical Staff

to join our

Care Collaboration

division. You will be partnering with senior business and product leadership to do great things. Ultimately your work will play a crucial role in transforming healthcare data into actionable insights that empower clinicians, researchers, and administrators to deliver better care.But enough about us, let’s talk about you

.You are a developer with extensive experience in designing and building full-stack web applications, preferably in public and private cloud environments, with some experience in building applications. You are an excellent communicator with the capability of quickly picking up the complexities of the healthcare space.You are a tenacious, but nimble learner, who demonstrates design & engineering excellence.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and build user-friendly interfaces that enable interactive exploration and interpretation of patient health data for various stakeholdersWork with back-end and front-end technologies to ensure seamless data integration, processing, and presentationCollaborate with product managers and analysts to understand data needs and translate them into effective software solutionsFollow best practices for code quality, security, and testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in healthcare data analytics, including machine learning, natural language processing, and distributed computingWork effectively in a collaborative team environment, communicating clearly and concisely with technical and non-technical stakeholdersTypical QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in software development, with proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologiesProficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or ScalaUnderstanding of data engineering principles and best practices, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousingExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsA passion for driving positive change through innovative software solutions.About athenahealthHere’s ourvision:
