Talent Acquisition Executive

Smart Food Safe is seeking a dynamic and strategic Talent Acquisition Executive to lead the recruitment, development, and retention of tech talent. This role is critical in shaping our workforce to drive innovation and growth in the compliance technology space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tech hiring, talent development, and employee engagement, with a passion for building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring
Develop and execute a robust recruitment strategy to attract top tech talent (developers, data scientists, QA engineers, etc.).
Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, candidate profiles, and interview processes.
Source candidates through multiple channels (job portals, , referrals, hackathons, etc.).
Manage end-to-end hiring, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Ensure a positive candidate experience and employer branding alignment.
2. Talent Development & Growth
Design and implement career development frameworks for tech employees.
Identify skill gaps and coordinate training, mentorship, and upskilling programs.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Work with leadership to create leadership pipelines and succession plans.
3. Employee Retention & Engagement
Develop retention strategies to minimize attrition and enhance employee satisfaction.
Conduct regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and engagement surveys.
Address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.
Implement recognition and reward programs to motivate high performers.
4. Employer Branding & Culture Building
Promote Smart Food Safe as an employer of choice in the tech community.
Organize tech talks, meetups, and networking events to enhance visibility.
Strengthen company culture by driving initiatives around collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 4+ years in talent acquisition and management, preferably in a tech-driven environment.
Tech Hiring Expertise: Strong understanding of tech roles (software development, AI/ML, cloud, etc.) and hiring trends.
People Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to align talent strategies with business goals.
Problem Solver: Proactive in addressing talent challenges with creative solutions.
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
