We are currently seeking an accomplished and strategic-minded Senior Lead Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management operations. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record, optimizing inventory processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Lead Inventory Manager will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic inventory plans to support our business objectives and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as procurement, sales, finance, and operations to align inventory management initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of inventory data and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Establish and enforce inventory policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Lead inventory forecasting and demand planning processes to facilitate accurate inventory replenishment and allocation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management processes, systems, and workflows, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.
Prepare and deliver insightful reports and presentations to senior management, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on inventory performance analysis.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in inventory management to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in inventory management, with a demonstrated track record of success in leadership roles.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
Proficiency in inventory management software systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Deep understanding of inventory management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM) or supply chain management is preferred.
