Key Responsibilities

Define and oversee the information security strategy, policies, and roadmap aligned with business goals.

Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, the board, and stakeholders on cybersecurity risks and business impacts.

Lead risk assessments, security audits, and compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.).

Develop and manage incident response plans, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.

Provide ongoing monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of the security program.

Advise on the selection and implementation of security tools, technologies, and managed services.

Establish and enforce third-party/vendor risk management frameworks.

Deliver security awareness and training programs for employees and executives.

Ensure that cybersecurity practices are integrated into IT operations, product development, and business processes.

Represent the organization in client, partner, and regulatory discussions related to information security.

Recognized industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCISO, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor).

Hands-on familiarity with security domains: cloud, network, identity & access management, application security, threat intelligence, and SOC operations.
