Role Description

The Senior Finance Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to deliver financial analysis, strategic planning, and support for business decisions. This role involves interpreting financial data, forecasting, budgeting, and providing actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance and achieve business objectives. This role will also support business teams on pricing, drive profitability, inventory efficiency to drive better business results. This role will closely work with finance operation team to ensure controls, risk mitigations, compliance of regulations and enable efficient working capital deployment.

We seeks a Senior Financial Manager to be a key member of its Business Finance Team. This position will be a critical business partner and will own the P&L for one of our product categories. This includes, among other things, responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and analysis.

The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical and have demonstrated ability to effectively manage finances for a high growth business including:

Ø Partnering financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses and financial modelling. Presenting recommendations to category leadership on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives.

Ø Work closely with the business team to drive critical business goals like vendor terms improvement (margins/credit), operational costs and contribute to Free Cash flows.

Ø Provide controllership to the business and build processes that augments transparency and improves controls

Ø Facilitate financial reviews with business group and work with category leader to ensure effective finance and cost management.

Ø Manage financial reporting and analysis, forecasting product lines using the key input levers to the business - pricing, selection, and conversion

Ø Facilitate weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews (WBR, MBR, QBR) with data analysis and follow through with business team on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period.

Ø Work with accounting team to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial book close process for the category.

Basic Qualifications:

  • The candidate should be a CA/MBA (finance) with 2 to 5 years of working experience in a relevant role and company.

  • Candidate should possess strong ownership, passion for achieving results, diving deep into numbers and gather insights from the numbers. Candidate should possess excellent communication skills and should have demonstrated track record to influence without authority and earning trust with stakeholders, team members.
