Stratum Project Consultants, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is a leading refrigeration project and cold storage consulting firm. We specialize in providing design, project management, and engineering support for refrigeration systems using both Freon and Ammonia. Our goal is to deliver value-added projects that are cost-optimized, helping our clients achieve lower operational costs while maximizing their capital investments. By providing detailed designs and documentation, we empower fabricators and installers to carry out the work at a reduced cost compared to turnkey contractors.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Electrical Design Engineer at Stratum Project Consultants. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems, collaborating with design teams, conducting engineering analyses, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards, and assisting in project management activities. This role is primarily based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in electrical design.- Must have experience in CAD software and a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.- Proven ability to lead a team and manage projects effectively.- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.- Flexible to visit the site and stay there for 2 or 3 months during commissioning time.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing Electrical load calculation, budget, sizing, design knowledge of LT panels, layout for schematics design, design documents- Designing light fixtures, Earthing & lightening design of the whole plant.- Apply engineering principles, techniques, and methods to design Electrical design solutions such as Lighting, power distribution, Earthing and Lightning Protection, containment systems, and lighting control systems.- Apply technical engineering techniques as per IEC Electrical Design Codes.- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
