Roles & Responsibilities of CAE Engineer

o Responsible for handling all types Static Structural Analysis, Linear, Non linear, Modal , Harmonic, Fatigue, Durability, Thermal Analysiso Identify potential critical challenges and failure modes – including collaborating with other engineering teams to identify risks.o Understand the project scope and able to calculate the loads & constraints and perform the FEAo Make recommendations to the design to improve their functional performance and reliability.o Work with test engineers to develop/conduct FEA simulations to verify appropriateness of test methods.o Prepare technical CAE reports of results.

Desired Skills

o Excellent understanding of solid mechanics and structural finite element analysis (FEA)o Hands on Experience with Altair Hyperworks/ Hypermesh, Optinstruct & Radioss CAE softwareo Ansys Workbench CAE tool experience would get advantageo Ability to differentiate and utilize both system and subsystem analysis techniques to evaluate complex interactionso Ability to define DOEs and analyzes the influence of design parameters to optimize the product design for a given applicationo Similar Off highway industry candidate would be preferableCandidate should have good communication skills
