QA Test Specialist

Your role
and responsibilities:
As a QA Test Specialist , your focus will be testing new features or improvements to the existing product. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with NASDAQ teams in other countries.
Conducts a range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications or client requirements. Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow. Collaborates with internal or external team members to plan different forms of applicable test phases; to ensure that applicable test phases are successfully completed and documented and there is a plan for problem resolution. When specializing in QA, develops and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures and methods. Review system requirements and business processes, codes, tests, and debugs software solutions.We expect you to have:
Minimum 6 to 7 years of experience in software testing especially in ETL, Database testing . Experience across all types of testing: functional, non-functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, cross-browser, cross-platform, integration, etc. Ability to test Web and Mobile applications deployed on the cloud and testing applications built using AWS services. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Expertise in creating scripts with tools like Katalon, Selenium WebDriver, Sauce Labs, REST Assured, SQL etc. Experience in creating test strategies, test plans, traceability matrices, checklists and test cases from Business Requirements/Specifications for QA and User groups. Proficient in creating, executing, and maintaining tests according to test scripts and test plans. Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries. Experience in PostgreSQL/MSSQLServer. Ability to test front end and back-end software components and apply industry best practices. Good understanding of how automation frameworks across industry. Thorough understanding of all aspects of Software Test Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements gathering, Design, Development, Testing). Must have excellent knowledge and experience on Agile/Scrum delivery and execution environment. Familiarity with agile development methodology including tools like Git, Jira. A fair understanding on BDD concepts. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
It would be great if you :
Any certification in required testing domain. Preferred fintech, banking domain experience.
