Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Solar Engineer to manage solar energy projects in Nepal. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in solar system design, project management, and execution, with experience in managing large-scale solar installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the execution of solar power projects from design to commissioning.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and local stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
Ensure that the solar systems are designed, installed, and operated efficiently in line with international standards.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for optimization.
Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, compliance records, and technical specifications.
Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress, quality, and safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in solar project management or design.
In-depth knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, including modules, inverters, and other balance of systems components.
Experience with solar design and simulation software (PVSyst, AutoCAD, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with local regulations and international standards for solar installations.
Ability to work effectively in a remote and multi-disciplinary team environment.
