The Fire Protection Design Engineer will beresponsible for designing implementing and overseeing fireprotection systems. This role involves collaborating withcrossfunctional teams ensuring compliance with safety standards andutilizing engineering principles to create effective fireprotection solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strongtechnical expertise in fire protection engineering attention todetail and a commitment to ensuring the safety of structures andoccupants. 1. Design and develop fireprotection systems including fire sprinklers alarms and suppressionsystems. 2. Collaborate with architectselectrical engineers and other stakeholders to integrate fireprotection measures into overall building plans.3. Conduct risk assessments and analyze building layoutsto determine the most effective fire protectionstrategies. 4. Ensure compliance with localstate and national fire safety codes and standards.5. Create detailed design documentation includingdrawings specifications and calculations. 6.Collaborate with contractors and project managers during theinstallation and testing phases of fire protectionsystems. 7. Stay updated on advancements infire protection technology and industry best practices.8. Provide technical support and expertise to resolvefire protectionrelated issues during construction oroccupancy. Requirements: 1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or arelated field; 2. 4 to 8 years experience infire protection system design and engineering.3. Indepth knowledge of fire safety codes standards andregulations. 4. Proficiency in relevantsoftware tools used in fire protection design.5. Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills. 6. Excellent communication andcollaboration abilities. 7. Ability to workindependently and manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
