What you’ll do at Ather:
Setup and implement the EHS policy for all Ather facilities, ensure it is compliant with the legal and regulatory requirements, company policies
Define standards for key processes/machinery, benchmarking them against best-in-class national and international standards
Develop EHSS strategy and planning for budget for the plant.
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to achieve environmental and sustainability goals.
Understand the sustainability requirements of investors and collaborate with various teams to meet Co2 emissions, energy reduction, waste reduction, and water reduction targets.
Coordinate with IMS internal and external auditors for creating roadmap and implement IMS standards like ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO50001
Develop systems for EHS, documentation like MSDS, ensuring coverage of all area of process like Accident Investigation, Work permit, LOTO, Authorization, Waste handling management, etc., through P-D-C-A cycle
Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, environmental and social risks and plan for mitigation.
Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
Draft SOPs for key activities like traffic safety, 5S, non-routine activity, maintenance work, Incident reporting, etc.
Carry out risk assessment for key processes at our factories and initiate Corrective Action-Preventive Action (CAPA)
Implement ergonomic study for key processes and set-up controls
Inspect, audit, and monitor the work area with respect to EHS standards and improve controls
Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
Participate in Change Management by assessing risk and proposing controls on Change Points in the Man, Machine, Material, and Method
Conduct and coordinate pre-medical examination, periodic medical examination, and fitness tests for all employees as may be necessary for legal/regulatory and company policy compliance
Monitor the lighting, ventilation, noise, etc. of the work environment and initiate controls
Continuously monitor the vicinity of all facilities for impending hazards to safety, health, and environment; plan for measures to tackle the same
Set up internal committees to understand unknown risks and ensure bottom-up and top-down communication
Conduct awareness programs pertaining to road safety, pollution control, etc.
Identify key legal tracking list and ensure compliances
Liaise with government bodies (Factory Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board, local municipal authorities, Labor department, etc.)
Conduct statutory inspections such as lifting tackles, pressure vessels, air monitoring, stack emission, printed circuit boards (PCBs), etc.
Here’s what we are looking for:
Expertise in safety and OHSAS standards, ISO 45001 Industrial Hygiene and Environmental standards , ISO 14000 Series and related standards
Working with various CO2 emissions and energy savings projects
provided extensive hands-on experience in the environment and
sustainability.
