JOB DESCRIPTION:
Deep Understanding of Python: Mastery of Python syntax, idioms, and advanced features (e.g., decorators, context managers).
Coding and Development: Extensive hands-on experience with Python, spending the majority of time on coding and development.
Profiling and Optimization: Proficient in profiling Python code and modules for performance bottlenecks and optimizing code for better efficiency.
Data Structures and Algorithms: Strong knowledge of core data structures (e.g., lists, dictionaries, sets) and algorithms, optimizing for time and space complexity.
Parallel Programming and Concurrency: Expertise in handling multi-threading, parallel programming, and asynchronous execution using tools like asyncio, threading, and multiprocessing.
Proficiency with Libraries/Frameworks: Expertise in using popular Python libraries like Pandas, Numpy, Flask, and Django for various domains, such as data manipulation and web development.
Clean, Maintainable Code: Adherence to best practices (e.g., PEP 8), writing clean, readable, and well-documented code for scalability and maintainability.
Advanced Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex algorithmic problems and design efficient, optimized solutions.
Debugging & Optimization: Skilled in debugging, performance profiling, and optimizing Python code for reliability and speed.
Software Engineering Practices: Competence in version control (Git), unit testing, and deployment practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines) for stable and maintainable software development.
Concurrency & Parallelism: Deep understanding of concurrency models and parallelism for building scalable and efficient Python applications.
Python Internals: Knowledge of Python's internals, including the Global Interpreter Lock (GIL) and how to optimize performance, as well as working with Python extensions.
