It is fully geared to service global clients by providing end-to-end engineering solutions from feasibility studies and scope documents to design conceptualization, FEED, detailed design, PMC, field engineering, commissioning and start up assistance and also debottlenecking for efficient plant operations.We are looking for qualified and experienced professional in Tendering & Estimation function at Essar Constructions India Ltd, MumbaiJob Purpose:To lead the estimation process for large-scale tenders and projects by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, evaluating technical and commercial risks, coordinating with internal departments and vendors, and supporting the bidding strategy to win projects profitably.Major Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates and BOQ's for civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation works based on drawing, specifications and project scopeAnalyse tender documents including drawing, specifications and contractual conditionsIdentify, quantify price risks, uncertainties and contingencies in proposalCollaborate with engineering, procurement, planning and construction team for accurate inputs on quantities, pricing, schedule and resourcesLiaise with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and evaluate offersPrepare cost comparison sheets and pricing summaries for management reviewsEnsure timely submission of tenders with all technical and commercial requirements metSupport value engineering and alternative proposal development to enhance competitivenessMaintain and update cost databases, benchmarks and market price trendsProvide post-tender clarifications, support negotiations and handover to project execution teamsFunctional Skills:Experience in Oil & Gas, Steel, Power, Infrastructure sectorsStrong knowledge of estimation softwares (e,g Candy, Primavera)Understanding of technical drawings, contracts, pricing mechanism and project executionBehavioural Skills:Leadership SkillsCustomer FocusNegotiation SkillsCommercial AcumenInterpersonal SkillsSkills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholdersQualification:B.E. / B.Tech. - MechanicalPost-graduation in Construction Management or Cost Engineering will be an added advantageExperience:15-20 years of experience in project estimation / tendering with 3-5 years in a senior or lead role
