About the Role:

An individual contributor with strong art and Illustration knowledge to contribute to the development of visually captivating and engaging slot games. As an Illustrator for our slot games, you will play a crucial role in bringing characters, themes, and concepts to life through your artistic skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the game designer and art direction teams to understand and interpret visual requirements for each slot game.
• Conceptualize and sketch initial design ideas for characters, environments, and themes, ensuring they align with the game's narrative and target audience.
• Create high-quality, original, and visually stunning 2D illustrations, characters, symbols, backgrounds, and other game assets following the established art style and direction.
• Ensure consistent visual style and adherence to technical specifications across all game assets to maintain visual coherence within the game.
• Incorporate necessary changes based on feedback from Game designer and stakeholders to achieve the desired artistic vision.
• Provide assets and guidance to ensure smooth integration of animations into the game.
• Collaborate with game artists and developers to ensure smooth integration of illustrations into the game engine, maintaining a balance between visual appeal and technical feasibility.
• Organize and manage illustration files efficiently, ensuring ease of access and collaboration with the development team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the quality and innovation of the artwork.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: bachelor's or master's degree in fine arts or related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• 7 years of total experience in the game industry as an illustrator/concept artist.
• Proven experience as an illustrator, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles and techniques, ideally including previous work on games or interactive media.
• Proficiency in digital illustration using Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
• Understanding of composition, color theory, and lighting to create visually appealing and captivating artwork.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interpret creative briefs, give and receive constructive feedback, and work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Additional Preferences

• Knowledge of the slot game industry
• Knowledge on Ai image generation tools
• Basic knowledge of Unity.
• Basic knowledge in any 3D software.
