DriverShaab is a rapidly growing logistics company specializing in providing driver supply, cab service management, and fleet logistics solutions. We are looking for a versatile and experienced professional to lead our HR and driver management operations in Kolkata.

Role Overview

The Chief People Officer cum HRBP will be responsible for managing driver supply, overseeing all HR-related tasks, ensuring compliance, and streamlining payroll and HRMS operations. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic insight and hands-on execution capabilities to align HR initiatives with DriverShaab’s business objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesDriver Supply Management

- Develop and execute strategies to recruit, onboard, and retain driver partners.- Establish a robust pipeline of drivers to meet current and future operational requirements.- Address driver concerns and implement engagement programs to minimize attrition.

HR Operations & Payroll Management

- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for both employees and driver partners, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursements.- Implement and optimize the HRMS tool to streamline HR processes, including attendance tracking, salary calculations, and compliance management.- Handle employee and driver queries related to HR policies and payroll.

Compliance & Business Process Management

- Ensure adherence to all statutory and labor law requirements, including tax filings and regulatory compliance.- Conduct audits of HR processes and ensure compliance with company policies.- Collaborate with legal teams to draft and review agreements, contracts, and policies.

HRBP Functionality

- Act as a strategic partner to leadership, aligning HR strategies with business goals.- Lead workforce planning, performance management, and organizational design initiatives.- Foster a high-performance culture by implementing employee engagement programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.- Experience:- 7+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.- Experience in managing driver or blue-collar workforces is a strong advantage.- Skills:- Proficiency in HRMS tools and payroll systems.- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance in India.- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
