The AEM Front End Developer should have a solid understanding of web development processes from inception to deployment along with a strong skill set of software architecture design pattern. This role will require excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility due to the changing needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities
+ Writing clean and well structured HTML, CSS and JavaScript code to create layout, style, functionality of webpages.
+ Adding and improving functionalities to the various domains of websites.
+ Developing new user-facing features using various front-end libraries and frameworks((e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to enhance user engagement and functionality.
+ Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
+ Collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional web interfaces, paying attention to detail and design consistency.
+ Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
+ Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design.
+ Experience in integrating UI deliverables with AEM components using Sightly and Sling models with minimal dependency.
+ Analyze application requirements and provide recommended design to support the business
+ As a member working in a team environment, you will work with security officer, enterprise architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design
+ Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse
+ Integration of existing/new Web applications with backend databases (internal and external)
+ Work in a collaborative coding environment with knowledge of CI pipelines, GIT, SVN and deployments
+ Follow Agile development practices for project execution

Qualifications & Experience
+ Undergraduate degree in the field of Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited university
+ 2+ years of relevant IT experience with AEM frontend development, with sound knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
+ Efficient with Clientlibs, AEM component development and template development.
+ Ability to review, revise and optimize AEM templates and components
+ Experience working with Multi-site manager
+ Experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry will be a plus.
+ Experience in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Service Now etc.
+ Helps drive a culture which motivates awareness and learning through creating space for conversations and debate.
+ Demonstrates a focus on improving processes, structures, and knowledge within the team.
+ Maintains a broad perspective when analyzing information and utilizes analytical thought while pushing others to do the same, considering long-term implications. Uses judgement and creativity in structuring work and finding solutions that are not obvious. Reviews and assess solutions proposed by others to determine the best path moving forward.
