About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our technology team and play a pivotal role in managing, optimizing, and scaling our cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of both platforms, along with extensive experience in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and security best practices. You will work closely with our development, security, and operations teams to enhance our deployment processes and ensure reliable and efficient operations in a hybrid cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.- Work with auto-scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery strategies for a robust cloud environment.

1. CI/CD Pipeline Development

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.- Automate deployment, monitoring, and security tasks to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce human intervention.

1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation (AWS), ARM templates (Azure), and other IaC tools.- Ensure consistent and versioned infrastructure deployments.

1. Configuration Management & Automation

- Use Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for configuration management to automate system configurations and software deployments.- Implement automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation and workflow optimization.

1. Monitoring & Performance Optimization

- Implement and configure monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch (AWS), Azure Monitor).- Optimize performance by proactively identifying bottlenecks, analyzing logs, and addressing issues.

1. Security & Compliance

- Ensure infrastructure and applications adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.- Implement and manage security controls (e.g., IAM, Key Management, Network Security Groups, Security Center).

1. Collaboration & Documentation

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of code into production.- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and operational workflows for knowledge sharing and business continuity.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with a primary focus on AWS and Azure environments.- Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) and/or Azure (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.- Strong experience in CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.- Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.- Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.- In-depth understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices for cloud environments.- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration on cloud platforms.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments or multi-cloud deployments.- Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices.- Understanding of GitOps principles and practices.
