Role & responsibilities

  • The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and driving critical topics related to Incident Management, Problem Management, High

Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup & Restore from database point of view.

  • The role requires expertise in SAP HANA Database administration.
  • ASE/DB2 - additional experience is welcome .
  • Involves installation, upgrades, performance tuning, security management, and high availability strategy implementation.
  • Experience in working independently in large scale production environments.
  • Willingness to work in shifts/oncall model as per business need.
  • The candidate will also be expected to contribute to automation, scripting, and documentation of day-to-day operations.

Database experience :

Min 7+ yrs (Database administration)

Technical experience:

SAP HANA DB experience.

Good Linux Knowledge.

Proven track record of operational experience and on call experience.

Backup & Recovery, HA/DR Strategy, Scripting & automation exposure
