Job Description :


We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud QA Engineer to join our IoT platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our cloud-based IoT platform. You will work closely with the development team to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate various components of our IoT :

1. Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design test strategies tailored for our cloud-based IoT platform.

2. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing of IoT platform components including microservices, APIs, databases, and data processing pipelines.

3. Design and implement test cases to validate end-to-end functionality and integration of IoT devices with cloud services.

4. Set up and configure test environments to simulate real-world IoT scenarios and ensure compatibility with different device types and protocols.

5. Perform manual testing as needed to validate edge cases, usability, and overall system behavior.

6. Monitor test execution, analyze test results, and identify areas for improvement in system performance, reliability, and scalability.

7. Work closely with DevOps engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous validation of code changes.

8. Collaborate with security experts to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of the IoT platform.

9. Document test plans, test cases, and test results, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

10. Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.

11. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in IoT technologies, cloud computing, and software testing.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven work experience as a QA Engineer or QA Developer with a focus on cloud-based IoT platforms.

3. Strong understanding of IoT concepts, protocols, and architectures.

4. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

5. Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

6. Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

7. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm.

8. Knowledge of IoT security principles and best practices.

9. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.

10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

11. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

12. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

13. Relevant certifications in IoT, cloud computing, or software testing are a plus.
