Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robotics kits, from concept to production, using microcontrollers and PCB designing
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that designs meet all functional requirements and are manufacturable
- Collaborate with other departments, such as product management and marketing, to ensure that designs meet customer needs and market trends
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of designs to ensure they meet all quality and performance standards
- Research and evaluate new technologies and components to improve the design of robotics kits
- Document design specifications, test results, and other relevant information for future reference
- Continuously improve design processes to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics engineering, with a focus on microcontrollers and PCB designing
- Experience in robotics or related fields is a plus
- Strong knowledge of microcontroller programming, schematic capture, and PCB layout design
- Proficiency in using design software, such as Altium, Eagle, or KiCAD
- Experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
