Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior SAP SD Consultant with a strong functional background and proven expertise in Open Text Sales Order Automation. This is a remote role (India-based) supporting the configuration of SAP SD and Open Text for automating inbound sales orders. The platform is already in place, and the role focuses on advanced configuration, template training, and end-user enablement.Key Responsibilities:Lead the configuration of SAP SD and Open Text to enable automated processing of sales orders from incoming documents (e.g., PDFs, emails).Collaborate with global functional and technical teams to define automation rules, document types, and field mappings.Train and fine-tune Open Text templates for accurate data capture and order creation in SAP.Support the integration of Open Text with SAP (e.g., using IDocs/BAPIs).Conduct user training sessions, develop training materials, and document template training processes.Execute unit testing, support UAT, and resolve post-go-live issues related to automation and document recognition.Act as the SME for Open Text Sales Order Automation within the SD function.Required Qualifications:10+ years of hands-on SAP SD functional experience, with a deep understanding of the Order-to-Cash (O2 C) process.5+ years of hands-on experience with Open Text, specifically in Sales Order Automation (formerly Business Center for SAP).Strong understanding of Open Text template training, OCR/ICR logic, exception handling, and SAP integration points.Experience configuring and troubleshooting IDocs, BAPIs, and sales document processing.Proven ability to deliver training to business users and support teams.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote setup with global stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with SAP S/4 HANA environments.Familiarity with other Open Text modules like VIM.Background in working with multi-country or shared services environments.Experience in Agile or hybrid project delivery models.
