ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Data Scientist specializing in machine learning, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that harness the power of data. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and building machine learning models, running these models on a regular basis, and evaluating their performance to ensure continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into actionable insights. Immediate business objectives include improving the current set of models for lead scoring and taking them to the next level by including additional data and utilizing more cutting edge techniques that give better predictive power.Key Responsibilities:Model Development: Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to address business challenges and enhance decision-making processes.Model Deployment: Deploy and integrate machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.Regular Monitoring: Run and monitor machine learning models on a routine basis, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.Performance Evaluation: Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics, and iterate on models to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and robustness.Data Preprocessing: Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful patterns and insights for model training.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, to align machine learning solutions with organizational goals.Documentation: Document methodologies, algorithms, and codebase to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain model transparency.Qualifications:Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.Strong understanding of statistical modeling, data analysis, and feature engineering techniques.Solid knowledge of data preprocessing and cleaning methods to ensure data quality.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of deep learning techniques and frameworks.
