The candidate shall be able to lead the organization’s initiatives for setting-up and stabilizing the functional testing automation, and load testing practices. Candidate should have expertise on the leading test automation platforms like Tricentis, and OpenText etc. for functional testing, and load testing. Should have IT industry experience in Scrum Agile, Quality Management, DevOps, with responsibility for defining and maintaining the quality metrics and KPIs for the team and Quality Reporting. The candidate shall be able to own and manage complex End-to-end projects with high-quality, and on-time delivery. Shall be able to define and maintain the quality metrics and KPIs for the team and Quality Reporting. Shall be able to plan and implement release activities such as test environment management, release schedules, plans, risk register. Shall be able to manage the functional testing and load testing automation initiatives, in a multi-application environment; with core ERP solution (SAP) and multiple other integrated peripheral systems. Preferably should have experience at a Pharma company or GxP controlled Process industry environment, that includes exposure to computer system validation activity. Must be results oriented, and demonstrate adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness. Areas Of Responsibility Roles & Responsibilities * Facilitate the identification & creation of functional test scenarios across functions and applications, including related to 3rd Party System Integrations. * Facilitate the identification & creation of load testing scenarios across functions and applications. * Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document business requirements. Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements. * Act as liaison with internal customer for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems. * Act as a liaison between the business and IT functions, and the test automation team. * Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required. * Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members. * To engage with teams for requirement understanding, planning, execution and approval. * Coordinate with other IT team members, and business stakeholders for identification of business scenarios, ensure test case preparation, and implementing the industry best practices. * Create an Orchestration layer and develop CICD integration Pipeline for test and release automation. * Execution of monthly/ quarterly load and stress tests for the entire product and create reports. * Preparation of entire Test Processes for a new engagement. Agree and define the quality gates, test approach, test approach/ strategy, estimates, schedule, and KPI. * Manage relationships with key stakeholders, work with the leadership team and deliver the testing services. * Provide leadership and mentorship to QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. * Build new test teams and drive testing activities proactively, managing risk and ensuring quality delivery. * Creation of Test Deliverables i.e. Test plan, Test Strategy, and Test Closure report. * Identify and implement the roadmap for the continuous improvement for the quality program by utilizing pertinent quality improvement tools Travel Estimate Travel as per project requirement Job Scope Internal Interactions (within the organization) With Plant business users, Within IT with Cross Module IT SME (Subject Mater Experts), IT infra team, IT application technical owners External Interactions (outside the organization) With the testing application OEM, 3rd Party partner consultants supporting Sun Pharma, and with those involved in various Projects - IBM, PwC, Deloitte, etc. Geographical Scope Global Financial Accountability (cost/revenue with exclusive authority) NA Job Requirements Educational Qualification BE/ BTECH/MBA Specific Certification Preferably ISTQB, PSM I Certified Skills Preferable with skills in Java11, Python3, VB Script Experience Min. 15 years’ experience in building and managing Test Automation practice (Testing CoE) on test automation platforms like Tricentis Tosca, and OpenText UFTONE etc. for functional testing, and load testing.
