Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned React.JS Architect with 12+ years of professional experience to lead our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance web applications using React.JS. The React.JS Architect will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.
Software Requirements:
Profound knowledge of React.JS and its core principles.
Experience with popular React.JS workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
Overall Responsibilities:
Lead architectural aspects of software development with a strong emphasis on React.JS technologies.
Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system-level design and implementation.
Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-speed web applications.
Guide the team on best practices, review code, and maintain overall code quality.
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
Integrate front-end components into applications and manage UI/UX developers.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Maintain and update existing codebases to improve efficiency and adapt to new requirements.
Categorywise Technical Skills:
Frontend Development: Mastery of React.JS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Backend Interaction: Proficiency in Node.js and a solid understanding of how to interact with backend services.
State Management: Experience with state management tools like Redux, MobX, or others.
Testing: Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
DevOps and CI/CD: Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Other Libraries and Frameworks: Experience with other JavaScript frameworks like Angular or Vue.js is beneficial.
Experience:
A minimum of 12 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years focusing on React.JS architecture and development.
Previous experience leading a development team.
A portfolio of successful projects that can demonstrate technical prowess.
Day-to-Day Activities:
Design, develop and deploy high-volume, high-availability applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Stay abreast of new technologies and propose their adoption where beneficial.
Engage in hands-on coding and technical documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Master’s or further education in a related technical discipline is preferred.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
Adept at conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
Strong mentorship and coaching skills to guide the team with patience and understanding
