Responsibilities : - Develop, customize, and maintain Android Board Support Packages (BSPs) for complex hardware platforms. - Optimize BSPs for advanced performance requirements, including power management, memory optimization, and real-time responsiveness. - Integrate and configure complex device drivers for diverse hardware components. - Conduct in-depth debugging and troubleshooting of intricate BSP-related issues. - Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to understand intricate hardware specifications and requirements. - Design and implement seamless integration between complex hardware and software components. - Perform advanced hardware bring-up, validation, and testing. - Optimize Android system performance through advanced kernel tuning, driver optimization, and system configuration. - Analyze and resolve complex performance bottlenecks using advanced debugging tools and techniques. - Implement sophisticated power management strategies for extended battery life. - Provide expert-level support to mobile application developers for complex BSP-related issues. - Assist in debugging and resolving advanced application compatibility issues. - Participate in the design and development of complex Android systems. - Write highly efficient, clean, and well-documented code adhering to advanced coding standards and best practices. - Contribute to Architectural decisions. Qualifications : Experience : - Minimum 7 years of experience in Android BSP development. - Extensive experience in developing and optimizing Android BSPs for high-performance mobile devices. - Experience with complex hardware integration. Technical Skills : - Expert-level understanding of Android architecture and framework. - Advanced expertise in developing and debugging Android BSPs. - Mastery of C/C++ programming languages. - Extensive experience with kernel development and driver implementation. - Advanced knowledge of hardware-software integration on Android platforms. - Expertise in Android performance optimization techniques. - Proficiency in using advanced debugging and profiling tools. - Experience with advanced version control systems (Git). Soft Skills : - Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and lead team efforts. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with specific complex hardware platforms (advanced SoCs). - Advanced knowledge of Android security features and hardening techniques. - Extensive experience with Linux kernel development and contributions. - Experience with advanced Android testing frameworks and methodologies. - Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (ref:hirist.tech)
