Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement & Mobilization: Engage with local communities, particularly parents and caregivers of children enrolled in

Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) schools to raise awareness about the importance of

eye health and the availability of testing services.

  • Parent Outreach:

Directly reach out to parents via phone calls, social media platforms, and in-person meetings

to inform them about eye health issues and encourage them to bring their children for eye

testing at designated Vision centres.

  • Awareness Campaigns:

Assist in organizing and conducting awareness sessions in local communities, schools, and

parent groups to educate families about common eye problems in children, and the

importance of timely diagnosis and intervention.

  • Data Collection & Record Keeping:

Maintain a database of parent contacts, responses, and scheduled visits to the eye testing

center. Ensure proper documentation of outreach activities.

  • Coordination with Eye Care Centers:

Collaborate with Vision centres to schedule testing appointments for families and ensure

smooth coordination between the centers and the parents.

  • Follow-ups & Support:

Follow up with families to ensure that they attend their scheduled appointments and provide

them with any additional support or information they may need.

  • Reporting & Feedback:

Regularly report progress, challenges, and insights to the program coordinator. Provide

feedback for continuous improvement of the outreach process.
