Position: Design Engineer - Instrumentation

Location: Pune

The candidate should be a Graduate/Postgraduate (Regular only) in Instrumentation Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation design and detail engineering in projects within pharma, oil & gas (onshore), petrochemical, chemical, etc.


Responsibilities:

The candidate should have the capability to perform the following activities:

  • Preparation of Instrumentation Documents:
  • Instrument index
  • I/O list
  • Instrument data sheet
  • Instrument location layout
  • Cable/JB schedule
  • Instrument hook-up diagram
  • Instrument BOQ
  • Coordination Tasks:
  • Coordination with other departments for input/output data
  • Coordination with sub-consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Instrumentation Analysis and Design:
  • Design of instrumentation such as field instruments, cables, instrumentation panels, etc., using various engineering techniques and standards
  • Preparation of calculation reports, etc.


Required Skills and Knowledge:

The candidate should be conversant with:

  • ISO certified company environment
  • Relevant industrial design codes such as IS, IEC, ISO, API codes, and standards
