We are looking for a skilled and driven
Senior Project Engineer
to join our team in India. This full-time, office-based role is ideal for professionals with 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design and industrial automation. You'll execute complex automation projects for the BIW/Automotive and general automation, collaborating across disciplines to deliver innovative, high-performance solutions. If you're passionate about engineering excellence and working with cutting-edge technologies, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What would a typical day be like?

  • Project Execution: Manage design deliverables, timelines, and client expectations across multiple automation projects.
  • Design Development: Create and refine custom machine concepts using NX, covering tooling, fixtures, BIW fixtures, EOAT, Transfer stations, Vision/inspections stations and robotic systems.
  • Technical Oversight: Perform design calculations, apply GD&T principles, and ensure manufacturability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records in PDM systems and prepare detailed design documentation.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Support prototype validation, resolve design issues, and implement improvements
  • Innovation & Exploration: Stay current with automation trends, robotic technologies, and global engineering standards.

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or mechatronics Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in automation design and project engineering.
  • SolidWorks, Siemans NX, AutoCAD, Inventor
  • Proven success in delivering complex automation projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with international clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with global standards.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead project execution.
