Under no circumstances will you be selected for an interview.We need an expert senior full stack MERN engineer to join our team.To be qualified as a expert level developer, you will need proven experience writing high quality, optimized code.You must be a high performer.You must be trustworthy.You must work well as part of a fully remote, distributed team based in India.You must fit into our team culture and add value to our culture.InterviewsUp to three interviews may be conducted:A screening interview to review your resumeAn on-camera technical interview where you will demonstrate your coding skills for FE and BE skills.If you pass the technical interview (most don't pass), we will schedule a personal interview (non-technical) to determine whether you would be a culture fit on our team.Our team has worked together successfully for 13 years. We are growing fast and are actively looking for accomplished and driven candidates with initiative who will add value to our team and to our product.Did I mention that you must be a high performer?Tech stack• Structure: Micro-service architecture• Front end: React JS.• Back end services: Typescript, using frameworks such as Koa, Express, Typegoose, etc.• Our services communicate with each other through g RPC protocol from within the cluster.• Storage layer: My SQL & Mongo DB• Development tools: JIRA, Github, Slack.Skills & Requirements• Demonstrated expertise with JS, specifically MERN stack• Proven experience as an efficient, expert engineer• Able to create architectural patterns for a large, scalable web application• Experience with Graph QL• Experience with My SQL/RDS• Experience with Github• Experience with JIRA & AWS• Experience writing Unit Tests for your work (We use Jest)• Experience using AI tools to complete work• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and a strong interest in developing AI-driven featuresResponsibilities/Requirements• Attend daily stand-up meetings on Zoom at 9:00 A IST.• Collaborate with our existing team in India (IST daytime), share knowledge and experience, conduct code reviews and architecture reviews, enforce software engineering best practices• Write well-documented code and follow best practices• Write unit tests for your work product• Be available full-time during IST daytime hoursResume/CVKindly submit a resume/CV in PDF format only.NOTEThis position is for a full-time "independent contractor".The hourly rate is $18 to $28/hour net to the successful candidate, determined based on skills, experience, a successful technical interview and background check.Agencies or 'groups' of developers who mimic agencies are ineligible.
