Job Description :


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team with 100 % remote working opportunity. This position requires a combination of manual and automation testing expertise within an agile project environment.


As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications built on React.js, Vue.js, and Angular frameworks through meticulous testing practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform manual testing on web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility across different platforms and browsers.

- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using the Cypress automation tool to streamline testing processes.

- Set up automation frameworks in Cypress tool from scratch to support the comprehensive testing of web applications.

- Utilize Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, JavaScript/TypeScript, and JSON for efficient test script development for both web and API automation tests.

- Conduct API testing, including both manual and automated methods, to verify the reliability and performance of backend services.

- Possess expertise in setting up API automation tests within the Cypress framework.

- Conduct database testing and automation to uphold data integrity and accuracy standards.

- Collaborate effectively within agile project teams, actively participating in all agile ceremonies, and liaising with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery.

- Handle deployments, releases, and post-production release verification processes to guarantee seamless product launches.

- Experience setting up automation jobs in Jenkins within CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and deployment processes.

- Proficient in utilizing GitHub for version control and collaboration purposes.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Extensive experience in manual and automation testing of web applications, preferably within agile environments.

- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Cypress.

- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

- Solid understanding of API testing techniques and methodologies.

- Experience with database testing and automation tools.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins.

- Proficient in using GitHub for version control and collaboration purposes.
