Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of managing end-to-end tax compliances for US, UK, SG and India jurisdictions, including coordinating with accounts payable, accounts receivable & treasury team for timely compliances;
  • Assistance in preparation of USA Sales tax and Singapore GST compliances, ensuring review from tax advisors and filing of returns;
  • Reviewing quarterly TDS returns, tax computations, ITR and SFT forms;
  • Advising accounts payable team on applicable TDS sections and TDS rates by analysing the transactions entered with domestic and international vendors;
  • Managing end to end GST refund process including preparation of refund application, coordinating with external consultants for filing and ensuring timely receipt of GST refund in the bank account;
  • Ensuring tax balances as per books is reconciled on a Monthly/ YTD basis, including passing of necessary entries in books of accounts;
  • Assistance in managing tax audits, including preparation of data, coordinating with finance team, discussion with tax auditors and review of tax audit reports;
  • Assistance in managing GST Annual returns, including preparation of data, coordinating with finance team, discussion with tax auditors and review of tax audit reports;
  • Review of responses to notices issued by departments;
  • Preparation of tax schedules required for audit purposes;
  • Liaising with external consultants as and when required for monthly/quarterly/annual compliances and tax litigations

Skill and Expertise Required:

  • Eligibility - CA with 2-3 years of work experience or Semi-qualified CA with 5-7 years of work experience with a confirmation of no exam leaves,
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and self-motivated,
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure,
  • Team player
  • Work knowledge of NetSuite is preferred,
  • Working knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage,
  • Knowledge of US, UK and Singapore tax regulations would be an advantage.
