Job Title: Business Analyst - Fraud Risk
Experience: 10 Years (Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working in a fraud risk management environment)
Location: Remote
Job Purpose:
The Business Analyst will be required to write and develop requirements, conduct business analysis as well as assist in testing, data migration, technical and functional design throught the final solution. This resource must be able to assist and play leading roles in moving solution to production, handover to support and close out phases of the project. He / She will also assist and oversee in training and end user migration components of the project. The candidate would have proven experience of delivering fraud management solutions for Tier 1 and2banks . This is a hands-on role and the successful candidate would be expected to assist the project management team and be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders of the Bank.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Perform business analysis, enhancements and changes to the risk management solutions, which include implementation in HO and rollout in international branches of the bank.
2. Contribute in fraud management operating model re-design including 1st and 2nd line of defense.
3. Provide a comprehensive review of vendor solutions, assessing fit for purpose for the bank.
4. Defining the systems and data requirements and validating the systems design from the functional as well as technical aspects.
5. Lead the changes for integration from legacy fraud systems to the new fit for purpose solution.
6. Assist in ensuring a high level of data consistency and data validation.
7. Collaborate with onshore and offshore resources to ensure successful delivery of projects.
8. Develop and refine the various business/functional/testing requirements in support of the project and systems involved, working alongside the vendor if needed.
9. To prepare a delivery schedule or assist project manager by reviewing and optimizing the project plan as applicable.
10. To actively participate in all testing phases during the project.
11. Playing roles in the technical and functional hand over of the project to the assigned support team(s).
12. To assist in developing business and operational processes and to participate in developing system training artefacts.
Ensure that stakeholders including project sponsors are kept informed on progress.
13. Ability to liaise with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, testing processes and other relevant information.
14. Have knowledge and experience on SAS SFM, VI and VA solution.
15. Experience on SAS VDMML is preferred but not mandatory
16. Aware and have hands on knowledge of Agile – Scrum framework.
17. Identify, analyze and translate the needs of users for IT solution as a user story fromScrum Methodology.
18. Provide a comprehensive review of business requirements, assess, and convert to detailed functional requirements.
19. Assess the scope and impact of the change in various systems and applications and provide detailed implementation scope to design and build teams of the applications.
Knowledge & Experience:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working in a fraud risk management environment. Minimum overall experience as a BA should be 10 years with latest experience in Fraud risk not being older than 2 years.
2. Experience in handling fraud requirements for multiple geographical regions and identifying the corresponding regulatory impact on IT system.
3. SME in the fraud risk management landscape, capable of identifying change and coordinating those changes through mobilizing a project team.
4. Previous experience of communicating with senior stakeholders, providing updates and strong documentation skills.
5. Proven ability in leading the design, build and operation of complex fraud technology systems.
6. Ability and charisma to lead and deliver
Qualification & Skills:
1. The candidate should possess either a postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems / Business Administration.
2. Excellent understanding of fraud management with a desire to implement new solutions for the bank.
3. Candidate must be technically astute and have had exposure to databases, scripting and technical interfacing capabilities using various tools / languages.
4. Strong proven track record of liaising with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, testing processes and other relevant information.
5. Should have handled support role(s) and possess numerical skills, coupled with the ability to work independently and within a team, managing time deadlines well.
