The “AIService” is a central service that provides a platform for data scientists andnon-data scientists alike to implement AI related use cases.Our prime goal is the provision ofvalue by designing, establishing, and operating Artificial Intelligence basedsolutions for internal Siemens Healthineers use cases, as well as providingguidance.Your tasks and responsibilities:You will manage andimplement technical aspects of the current AI Service and drive innovation byevaluating and transforming latest AI technologies (e.g., Large LanguageModels) into valuable solutions.You will design, plan,and manage platform related solutions and IT infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.You will engage withinternal stakeholders and collect requirements to convert their demands intoefficient, compliant, and valuable solutions.You will be working ondaily operational topics and answer queries of our customers as to usage andproblem solving.You will be responsiblefor the continuous improvement of our AI platforms.You will collaboratewith cross-functional teams to drive self-service analytics and digitalization.Your qualifications and experience:You have a master’sdegree in computer science or any computer science related course of studies.You have at least 5+years of experience in using and configuring cloud technologies (preferablyAzure) on a conceptual and infrastructural level and a profound understandingin working with the latest AI-based technologies (e.g., Large Language Models).We also welcomeapplicants with a bachelor's degree or completed vocational training coupledwith additional professional experience in this field.You are familiar andhave hands-on experience with the following concepts and solutions:Modern software development concepts (e.g., CI/CD)Azure DevOps or similar Code/Service-management platformsThe configuration and usage of Databricks, Azure ML Studio or any otherdata science related platformAutomating the creation of infrastructure using IaC tools likeTerraformYou have at least abasic experience in the following areas: Code development in PythonCognitive Services in Azure (or in similar cloud environments)Container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (Cloud based solutionlike AKS or GKE)It is a plus to haveexperience in front-end or full stack development
