Role

As a QA Engineer with our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems, particularly focusing on data testing and data pipelines. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive test plans that align with data validation principles. You will be designing effective tests for user stories and ensuring their proper implementation.You will be responsible for executing system testing, including ELT processes and data

Locations

We are located in Austin (USA), Singapore, and Hyderabad (India). 

 

Job Location – Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Indore, Pune India. Relocation assistance will be provided for compelling candidates.

You have experience leading small to mid-sized testing teams, driving productivity, accountability, and performance through constructive feedback mechanisms. In terms of technical responsibilities, you excel in leveraging ETL tools and frameworks to validate data transformations, integrations, and load processes.

 

You oversee test planning, agile methodologies, status tracking, and issue management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You collaborate with development managers, data architects, and other stakeholders to drive technical solutions, research new testing technologies, and optimize testing processes. Requirements

What you’ll do

 

Following are high level responsibilities that you will play but not limited to:

• You will provide detailed and accurate reports on test progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
  
• You will be responsible for testing BI reports for both data accuracy and functionality.
  
• Maintaining and updating relevant tasks within our workflow and providing daily status updates.
  
• You will take a pride in making sure all the objectives of quality assurance are achieved before delivering the product.
  
• You will promote the continuous improvement though various ways such as identifying and improvising the quality issues, sharing your skills and techniques with other team members.
  

What you’ll bring

 

•     5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on data testing.
  ·    Background in data engineering/development, understanding the intricacies of data pipelines and processes.
  ·       Proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation
  ·       Basic Knowledge in Snowflake and cloud-based data solutions.
  ·  Familiarity with Azure DevOps and AWS cloud services for continuous integration and deployment.
  ·   Any experience in Test automation, utilizing tools such as Python for scripting will have added advantage.
  ·       Experience with BI tools for data visualization and reporting.
  ·       Good hands-on experience in Designing, Executing Test cases/scripts
  ·       Well versed with all phases of SDLC and STLC.
  ·       Well acquainted with Agile way of working and onsite-offshore model.
  ·       Bachelor of computer/IT engineering or similar (MCA, M. Tech, MS etc.).
  ·       Open and innovative mindset with keenness to learn new skills.
  ·       Skills: Testing, Power BI, Python scripting, Tableau, Designing learning
