We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure AI Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to design and implement intelligent applications using Azure Cognitive Services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), document and image understanding, and the ability to generate data-driven narratives using information stored in SQL databases and Azure Blob Storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop NLP applications using Azure AI services such as:
  • Azure Cognitive Services (Language, Vision, Form Recognizer)
  • Azure Open AI Service
  • Azure Bot Services
  • Create narratives and insights from structured data stored in SQL databases using language models.
  • Develop intelligent chatbots capable of answering questions by interpreting documents, images, and Office files (Word, PDF, Excel) stored in Azure Blob Storage.
  • Build and optimize pipelines for ingesting and processing unstructured data using Azure tools.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to extract, transform, and leverage data for conversational and content management use cases.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and governance standards for AI applications.

Required Skills:

  • 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying AI/ML solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Azure Cognitive Services (Language, Vision, Form Recognizer, Translator)
  • Azure Open AI (GPT-4, fine-tuning, embeddings)
  • Azure Bot Framework and QnA Maker (or Azure AI Studio)
  • Azure Blob Storage and Azure Functions
  • Experience integrating with SQL Server or Azure SQL Database for narrative and insight generation.
  • Proficiency in Python or C# for AI model development and integration.
  • Experience in handling unstructured content: PDFs, scanned images, Office documents.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, embedding models, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of NLP tasks: text summarization, information extraction, question answering, and sentiment analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or similar certification.
  • Familiarity with vector databases like Azure Cognitive Search, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
