Job Title: UFT Automation Engineer

Experience:3-4 Years

NoticePeriod: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Hyderabad,Bangalore & Mumbai

JD:

Responsibilities:

·TestAutomation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using UFT forfunctional and regression testing of web and desktop applications.

·TestCase Design: Collaborate with QA analysts and developers to designcomprehensive test cases based on functional requirements and specifications.

·ScriptExecution: Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results, identifyingand reporting defects and inconsistencies.

·TestEnvironment Setup: Configure and maintain test environments to simulatereal-world usage scenarios and ensure accurate testing.

·DefectManagement: Log and track defects using defect tracking tools, prioritizeissues, and work with development teams to resolve them.

·Documentation:Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, andtest reports.

·ContinuousImprovement: Identify opportunities for test automation improvement, streamlinetesting processes, and implement best practices.

·Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, businessanalysts, and product owners, to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

·Experience:3-4 years of experience in automated testing, with a focus on UFT (UnifiedFunctional Testing).

·Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relatedfield.

TechnicalSkills:

·Proficiencyin UFT scripting, test automation frameworks, and automation best practices.

·Experiencewith testing web applications, desktop applications, and APIs using UFT.

·Knowledgeof scripting languages such as Visual Basic Script for test automation.

·TestingTools: Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira) and versioncontrol systems (e.g., Git).

·Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshootand debug automated test scripts.

·CommunicationSkills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability tocollaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

·Certifications:Relevant certifications in UFT or software testing are a plus.
