ob Description:

We arelooking for a skilled Guidewire Developer to join our team and helpenhance and maintain our Guidewire platform. As a GuidewireDeveloper you will be responsible for designing developing andimplementing Guidewire applications to support our insurancebusiness processes. You will work closely with business analystsproject managers and other stakeholders to understand requirementsand deliver highquality solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Designdevelop and implement Guidewire applications based on businessrequirements.
  • Customize Guidewire PolicyCenterBillingCenter or ClaimCenter modules to meet specific businessneeds.
  • Collaborate with business analysts togather and analyze requirements and translate them into technicalspecifications.
  • Develop integrations betweenGuidewire and other systems using Guidewire Studio GScript Java andweb services.
  • Create and maintaindocumentation for technical designs code and configurationchanges.
  • Perform unit testing code reviews anddebugging to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Support system testing user acceptance testing andproduction deployment activities.
  • Providetechnical guidance and support to junior developers and teammembers.
  • Stay updated with Guidewire bestpractices tools and technologies and recommend improvements toexisting processes and systems.
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to deliver endtoend solutions that meetbusiness objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience as a GuidewireDeveloper or similar role with expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenterBillingCenter or ClaimCenter.
  • Strongproficiency in Java/J2EE Guidewire Configuration (Gosu) GuidewireStudio and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Experience with Guidewire integration frameworks andtools such as Guidewire Messaging Gosu Scripting andPCF.
  • Knowledge of database technologies(SQL/PLSQL) and experience with relational databases (Oracle SQLServer).
  • Familiarity with Agile developmentmethodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence).
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention todetail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonalskills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teammembers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to workindependently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Insurance domain knowledge is aplus.

Certifications such asGuidewire Certified Developer (GCDC) or Guidewire CertifiedIntegration Developer (GCID) would be anadvantage.
