a function part of Technology division in Volvo Group IT, with an ambition to identify and execute on new digital initiatives supporting embedded software handling in tight collaboration with TD/BAs and Group Functions as well as modernize and transform our existing solutions into digital products.

Together with our digital talents, we work on solution design and deliveries to improve business performance and create value at scale for Volvo Group. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together.You will be part of an engaged team in an international and multicultural environment and within a department developing our future IT solutions in the Embedded SW area.Roles & Responsibilities:We are seeking an individual proficient in Microsoft Azure services, possessing a strong background in cloud infrastructure maintenance, integration setup, and a comprehensive understanding of IT service management processes.In this role, your dedication to providing exceptional support for our internal products is essential. Your key responsibilities will include:Working closely with the application teams to facilitate their cloud migration journey.Engaging with diverse, international teams to promote collaboration and contribute to enhancing our platform into a robust PaaS solution.Demonstrating proficiency in establishing Azure DevOps pipelines and operating within a container-based micro-service environment.Cultivating a customer-centric mindset and driving innovation through rigorous testing and continuous learning.Staying updated on Azure security tools and best practices.Participating actively in incident response and security incident investigations.Monitoring and troubleshooting issues within Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.Collaborating with support teams, including third-party vendors, to promptly resolve incidents.Assessing and implementing necessary disaster recovery strategies and solutions.Skills Required:1) Mandatory Skill Sets:Proficiency in Azure DevOps.Understanding of Networking and Cloud Infrastructure within Azure.Experience with Azure Infrastructure Services.Ability to work with Azure-hosted databases & virtual machines.Familiarity with Kubernetes / OpenShift.Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform.2) Secondary Skill Sets:Understanding of Azure backup solutions.Capability to propose and implement security best practices.Experience with Splunk as a monitoring tool.Familiarity with security testing tools and vulnerability assessment.Background in Agile methodology (Scrum/SAFe).Education & Experience Required:Preferred prior experience in embedded software development within the automotive sector.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.Proficiency in creating operational, design, and other necessary documentation for job execution.
