Job Title:Electrical BIM Modeler Location:Bangalore Company:Seed Engineering ConsultantsJob Description Seed Engineering Consultants is seeking a skilled and detail-orientedElectrical BIM Modelerto join our design and engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inCAD to BIM conversion ,3D modeling , andMEP coordination , with hands-on experience in Revit and other BIM tools. The role involves producing high-quality BIM models and drawings in alignment with project standards and client requirements.Key Responsibilities Develop and manage3D MEP models(Mechanical & Electrical) from CAD drawings usingRevit . Create and modifyparametric familiesup toLOD 500as per project specifications. PerformCAD to BIM conversionefficiently while maintaining accuracy and design intent. Coordinate and integrate models across disciplines (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Protection). Prepareinstallation ,coordination , andshop drawingsfrom BIM models. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and design consistency. UseNavisworksfor model review, clash detection, and coordination. Maintain quality and standards in all BIM deliverables as per company and client guidelines. Stay updated with industry standards, BIM trends, and technologies.Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree inMechanical/Electrical Engineeringor a related field. Minimum3–5 years of experienceinBIM modeling(Mechanical and/or Electrical). Proficient inRevit MEP ,AutoCAD , andNavisworks . Strong understanding ofLOD levels ,BIM execution plans , andstakeholder requirements . Familiarity with building services systems —HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Protection . Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications Experience withinternational BIM standards(e.g., ISO 19650, AIA, or BS/EN). Knowledge ofDynamoor other BIM automation tools is an advantage. Exposure toclash detection ,model coordination meetings , anddocumentation workflows .
