Microsoft Dynamics 365 Data Migration Consultant

Responsibilities :
Liaise withproject teams customers and management to understand data migrationrequirements.
Input into the strategy and plan formoving the data and converting content as necessarywhile
considering risks and potentialimpacts.
Be able to create packages to cleanse conformfilter map and transform data for movement between
systems.
Oversee the execution of migrations and becapable of dealing with issues that may arise.
Provideaudits and validation for migrated data against the legacysource.
Document migration runs including issuesresolutions timings audit detail etc.
Be involved indeveloping data migration best practices for current and futureprojects.
Qualification and Skills:
Goodknowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE
Desirable if youalso have good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365F&SCM
Good understanding of data modellingmapping and the peculiarities of Dynamics applicationdata
requirements
Excellent understanding ofdata transformation using Microsoft toolset both onprem andAzure
Excellent understanding of SQL Server IntegrationServices and the full ETL process
Must have knowledge ofData Transformations and Data Migration design (using tools such asSSIS)
Experience with Data Migration Governance andworking as part of a larger implementation teamPersonal attributes
Strong attention todetail.
The ability to problemsolve under pressure andin complex situations.
A methodical and logical approachto planning and organisation
The ability to communicatewith team members.
Excellent time management skills anda goaloriented personality.
A strong understanding ofdata protection security and governance.
Must be able towork alone and as part of a team.
A keen interest in newmethodologies and technologies.
Experience andBackground:
Minimum 5 years experience working withMicrosoft Dynamics CE.
