AWS Python DevOps Engineer - CREQ183034 Description

Produce data and platform architecture design artifactsDesign and develop architecture documentation for technical and business leadershipHelp maintain the integrity and security of the real-time streaming data platformFacilitate the end-to-end platform activities (architecture, integration, engineering, DevOps) and contingenciesDefine user stories that distill complex business problems into simple and clear terms, which technical teams can both understand and act on, enabling efficient development cycles while minimizing bottlenecks and risksCollaborate with internal and external partners across Comcast to understand how associated data projects adhere to the broader customer & employee journey roadmapAct as an AWS subject matter expert and help foster knowledge transfers and system/platform requirementsCapable of presenting complex topics to audiences consisting of engineers and senior people leadersConsistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significancePerform code reviewsParticipate in making major technical and architectural decisionsEstablish and document development and testing best practicesAssist with cloud-based infrastructure planning and implementationVersed in AWS cost managementWork with partners and technical architects on requirements definitionMaintain technical documentationAssist in the ongoing system support and maintenanceHave a track record of solving technical challenges and owning critical systemsRecognize weaknesses in our technology and organization, and provide constructive feedbackBe knowledgeable of fundamental computer science concepts.· 5+ years industry experience· Demonstratable experience building and operating platforms at significant scale· Expert in Python and object oriented programing practices· Hands-on development with most of the following AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, Kinesis, AWS Managed kafka services,CloudFormation, AWS code pipeline, GrafanaAWS certifications are a plusPrimary Location Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Job Type Experienced Primary Skills AWS Lambda Years of Experience 8 Travel No
