Research Analyst

Job Title: Research Analyst – Clinician-Based Organizations Job Location: Remote / Freelancing Experience: 5+ years Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Research Analyst to identify, catalog, and analyze clinician-based organizations in the United States. These organizations may be formed around medical specialty, race, ethnicity, gender, country of origin, or other identity- or profession-based factors. The Analyst will be responsible for producing a comprehensive, structured report that provides actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Conduct extensive research to identify clinician-based professional associations, societies, and advocacy groups. Assemble a detailed database of these organizations with the following fields at a minimum: Organization name, description, location (headquarters), website, phone number Organization focus (e.G., specialty (cardiology), identity (Latino, women)) Organization mission, values, objectives (e.G., networking, education, political advocacy, research, public health, community engagement) Membership information (number of members, membership tiers, costs, benefits) Leadership details (names, titles, email addresses, URL to LinkedIn profile, and other contact info where available) Whether or not the website has a secure portal (link to login) Verify and validate data accuracy through primary and secondary sources. Research monthly traffic to each organization (unique visitors) Present findings in both raw dataset form (e.G., Excel or database format) and a narrative report highlighting key takeaways. Qualifications: Experience in conducting market research quickly and creatively – using multiple sources Strong proficiency with data collection and organization tools (Excel, Google Sheets) Strong writing and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Comfort using LinkedIn and other professional directories as research tools. Prior experience conducting competitive landscape analysis or organizational mapping. Deliverables A structured database (Excel/CSV) with detailed organization-level fields.
