Job Description

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and build a brand new Layer 1 L1 blockchain from the ground up, showcasing your expertise in blockchain architecture and development. 

  • Architect and implement innovative blockchain solutions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and security for decentralized data management. 

  • Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge blockchain protocols and consensus mechanisms. 

  • Take charge of designing and implementing robust blockchain protocols, contributing to the evolution of decentralized data accessibility. 

  • Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of the new blockchain, addressing the challenges of decentralized technology.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate the new blockchain seamlessly with Openmesh's core products. 

  • Drive innovation by staying abreast of blockchain trends, incorporating cutting-edge developments into blockchain solutions.

  • Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating them into the development of the new blockchain.


Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Decentralized Systems, or a related field. 

  • 6 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing data verification processes in decentralized networks. 

  • Expertise in consensus mechanisms, particularly Proof of Stake PoS. 

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of guiding high-performing teams in complex decentralized projects. 

  • Possess strong communication skills, capable of articulating intricate technical concepts to diverse audiences with clarity, precision, and the ability to tailor communication to different stakeholders. 

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and incorporate emerging industry trends into data verification and consensus development.


Requirements
Skills: Mandatory Skills : SQL DBA , Tableau , ETL , JavaScript AWS (include the minimum required skills) ● Strong experience using SQL ● Experience with Tableau (desktop and web versions) ● Experience with JavaScript and NodeJS ● strong desire to research and learn AI/ML skills. Specifically AWS SageMaker ● Experience with performance tuning backend server configuration such as Linux or Windows ● Strong Experience with SQL Server 2016+ (managing design and performance of large datasets) ● Good experience designing and managing a high-performing data warehouse ● Technical architecture around data and analytics specifically Tableau or similar cutting edge Data Visualizations tools ● Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills ● Product planning skills Knowledge: (what are the important things to know for this position?) ● Software development and quality assurance processes ● Fundamental development operations ● Fundamental data application and reporting development ● BI architecture and analytics Experience: (what are the minimum experiences required?) ● 10+ years industry experience ● Demonstrable experience of successful performance in a similar role
