A leading financial services company is looking for a knowledgeable Assistant Manager Project Accounting to join our team. In this role, you will support the financial management of various projects, ensuring that all accounting activities align with established budgets and timelines. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with project managers to provide insights into project performance.
You will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of project accounting processes and will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of project financial management.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring compliance with financial standards.
- Oversee project accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with project teams to support financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze project costs, identifying variances and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Support audit processes and maintain accurate records of all project financial activities.
- Perform risk assessments and implement best practices in project accounting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project accounting or financial management.
- Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
