5. Interfaces with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and/or new products.

6. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

7. Drive accurate product structure and release through NPI/ePLC and CIP development on High Value Solutions for customers.

Qualification

Required: Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering with all above criteria’s.

Desirable: Engineering or Equivalent with sound knowledge on Design for Excellence principles

Experience

No of years: Experience of 8-12 years in which at least 4-5 years in a manufacturing organization.

Specific experience requirement:

• Should have min 4-5 years hands on experience in a Manufacturing organization.

• 4-6 in years of work experience in a design environment.

Skill sets

Required:

• Sound Knowledge on Material selection, Various Manufacturing Process like Machining, Fabrication, Sheet Metal etc., with Basic & Advanced Manufacturing Processes.

• Hands on experience in building the assemblies and troubleshooting the issues with form, fit and function.

• Thorough knowledge on GD&T is a must and understanding on tolerance stack-up analysis, Design Calculation will be an added advantage.

• Proficient in using ISO & ASME Std. Knowledge on DIN Std. will be added advantage.

• Competency in UG NX is a must.

• Good Presentation and Negotiation Skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
