Job Description :


A SAP PPM/PS (Project Portfolio Management/Project Systems) Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP solutions related to project management and portfolio management.


Job Title : SAP PPM/PS Consultant


Job Overview :


The SAP PPM/PS Consultant is a key member of the SAP implementation team, specializing in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Project Systems (PS) modules.


The role involves collaborating with clients, understanding their project management requirements, and configuring SAP solutions to meet those needs.


Responsibilities :


- SAP PPM/PS Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP PPM/PS modules, ensuring alignment with business goals and project management requirements.


- Work closely with clients to gather and analyze business requirements for project portfolio management and project systems.


Configuration and Customization :


- Configure SAP PPM/PS modules to meet specific project management and portfolio management requirements.


- Customize and enhance SAP PPM/PS functionalities based on client needs.


Integration :


- Collaborate with other SAP modules and external systems to ensure seamless integration with SAP PPM/PS.


- Implement and maintain integration points to facilitate data flow across different modules.


User Training and Support :


- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure effective utilization of SAP PPM/PS functionalities.


- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and address user queries related to project management modules.


Continuous Improvement :


- Identify opportunities for process improvement within SAP PPM/PS modules.


- Stay updated on SAP best practices and new features, implementing enhancements to optimize project and portfolio management processes.


Documentation :


- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP PPM/PS configurations, processes, and integrations.


Reporting and Analytics :


- Develop and configure reports and analytics to provide insights into project portfolio performance.


- Ensure the availability of accurate and relevant project-related data for decision-making.


Requirements :


Educational Qualifications :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.


Experience :


- Proven experience in SAP PPM/PS module implementation and configuration.


- In-depth knowledge of project portfolio management and project systems best practices.


Technical Skills :


- Proficiency in SAP PPM/PS configuration and customization.


- Strong understanding of SAP integration methodologies and tools.


Communication Skills :


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and project teams.


Analytical Skills :


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in SAP PPM/PS processes.
