Job Position: Database Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Kolkata
Experience: - 6+ to 10+ Years
Must Have: MongoDB databases, NOSQL, Node js, Java/Python/Perl, Ensuring Data Security.
Key Responsibilities
Design, Implementation, and Maintenance:
Design, implement, and maintain MongoDB databases to meet the organization's requirements.
Ensure database systems are highly available, reliable, and capable of meeting the needs of our applications.
Query Development and Optimization:
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Implement indexing strategies to enhance query performance.
Application Integration:
Integrate MongoDB with other applications using languages such as Java, Python, and Perl.
Work with different data sources to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
Continuous Learning and Best Practices:
Stay updated with the latest MongoDB features and best practices.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Data Security and Integrity:
Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
Performance and Scalability Improvement:
Continuously monitor and improve database performance and scalability.
Implement performance tuning techniques and scalability strategies to handle growing data volumes and user loads.
Additional Skills and Experience
Experience with other technologies such as Elastic, NoSQL databases, and Node.js is beneficial.
Familiarity with database design and architecture principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a MongoDB Database Engineer or similar role.
Proficiency in Java, Python, and/or Perl.
Strong understanding of MongoDB architecture, indexing, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of data security and protection practices.
Experience with integrating MongoDB with other systems and data sources.
Education:
B. Tech or equivalent IT Degree.
