Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Draftsperson to support our design team by preparing accurate technical drawings, plans, and documentation based on specifications provided by architects and engineers. The ideal candidate should possess strong AutoCAD & Sketchup and a solid understanding of architectural drafting standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation using AutoCAD,.
  • Convert conceptual designs and sketches into technical plans that comply with applicable building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Design and Project Managers to ensure designs are accurate and meet client requirements.
  • Update drawings during the design process and coordinate revisions.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for ongoing and completed projects.
  • Assist in preparing 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, and other architectural design tools.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, detailing, and building regulations.
  • Ability to interpret architectural sketches, specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in Residential projects.
