Role Overview — Chrome Extension Trainee (Full-Time, 35+ hrs/week)We are hiring Trainee Chrome Extension Developers to support the development of browser-based automation tools across our SaaS portfolio. This is an entry-level technical role ideal for recent graduates, self-taught developers, or anyone looking to build a strong foundation in JavaScript, browser APIs, and Chrome extension architecture. This position requires a minimum commitment of 35 hours per week. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to build, test, and improve lightweight extensions that power our AI workflows. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and enhance Chrome extensions using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Implement Chrome APIs including tabs, runtime, storage, background scripts, and content scripts Debug, test, and improve performance of existing extensions Work closely with product managers to understand workflows and automation needs Integrate extensions with backend services and APIs Maintain clean, organized code and technical documentation Participate in daily standups, weekly sprint reviews, and rapid iteration cycles Nice to HaveBasic understanding of JavaScript and async operations Previous exposure to Chrome extension development (even small personal projects) Familiarity with DOM manipulation Experience with APIs (REST, Webhooks) Interest in AI, automation, and browser-based productivity tools Strong problem-solving and debugging ability What You’ll GainHands-on Chrome Extension Development experience used by real customers Exposure to AI-powered automation workflows across multiple industries 1:1 mentorship from YC-backed founders and senior engineers Fast-paced learning environment where you build and ship weekly Clear path to transition into a full-time engineering role CommitmentFull-time role: Minimum 35 hours per week High ownership, high execution environment Flexible remote schedule with daily check-ins Interview ProcessWe keep the process simple and fast: Submit your application Complete a small Chrome extension task (5 hours) Quick decision — we move fast No long interview rounds.
